Up On Cascade Mountain
To get warmed up we hit Cascade. We arrived just before 3:00, and hardly expected to summit, but as we got closer, not reaching the top was no longer an option. The trail was nicely packed, and the temperature was around 5 degrees at the base. The air was perfectly clear.

| But on top it was about 10 below zero, winds around 40 mph (Colden and Algonquin in the background). We stayed on the peak for about a minute. |  |
